What are the main challenges facing democracy today?
The main challenges faced in democracy today is the low voter turn-out. Voting is the most direct way to make change in a democratic system, yet we constantly see lower income communities and minorities being underrepresented The only way you can have a say in society is through voting.

What are the main challenges facing democracy today?
Money – Citizens United allowed unlimited spending on elections. Reaganomics – since 1982 this failed economic policy has gutted the middle class creating the greatest income inequality in our history. Disinformation – paid for with all that money.

What are the main challenges facing democracy today?
The main challenge is that rich people in America are not accepting that this country has become more economically liberal and less socially divided. From the Tea Party folks during Obama’s time to the business owners who came to Washington on January 6, it’s the people with money and the Republicans who serve them who pose a threat.
