"Voices and Votes: Democracy in America," a traveling exhibit based on a major exhibition currently on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, will be on display at the Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) Mays Landing Campus from July 11 through August 13.
ACCC will host "Fannie Lou Hamer Came to Atlantic City, Freedom Summer and the Fight to Seat Mississippi Black Delegates at the 1964 DNC," a presentation by Dr. Chanelle Rose, on July 19 at 5:30 p.m.
ACCC will host "The Suffrage Timeline," a presentation by the League of Women's Voters, on August 10 at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the "Voices and Votes: Democracy in America" exhibit.
On display from August 20 to September 18 at the Monmouth Museum on the campus of Brookdale Community College will be the exhibit "Collective Identity" by Fair Haven artist Kathleen Beausoleil.
