Join NJCH grantee the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice for a very special pre-release screening of the powerful Netflix film RUSTIN, produced by Michelle & Barack Obama about inspirational Black queer civil rights hero and LGBTQIA movement pioneer Bayard Rustin. The screening will be followed by a conversational exchange between best-selling author and New Yorker contributor Adam Gopnik and Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice Chief Activist Robt Martin Seda-Schreiber.

Produced by Academy Award winner Bruce Cohen, Higher Ground’s Tonia Davis and Barack & Michelle Obama, and directed by Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe, the film features an all-star cast including Colman Domingo, Chris Rock, Glynn Turman, Jeffrey Wright and Audra McDonald. The film will be in select theaters November 3 and premieres on Netflix November 17t
