Christopher M. Bellitto, Ph.D., is Professor of History at Kean University, where he teaches courses in ancient, medieval and religious history. He is the author of 10 books and over two dozen peer-reviewed articles appearing in the United States and Europe. In addition, he is a frequent media commentator and public lecturer on church history and contemporary Catholicism.
