As we approach the end of the year, the New Jersey Council for the Humanities is thankful to have welcomed three new members to our Board of Trustees in 2023!

Those who joined the Board include:

  • Alyson Wess, Vice President for Global Community Impact at Johnson and Johnson
  • Dr. Cole M. Crittenden, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Princeton University
  • Dr. David Blake, Professor of English at The College of New Jersey

“These new members are each highly respected in their professions and have immediately strengthened our efforts to advocate for the humanities in New Jersey,” said NJCH Executive Director Carin Berkowitz, PhD. “Their expertise will help us grow both in our commitment to the humanities as a social force and as a strategically focused nonprofit organization.”

To learn about the professional backgrounds of the new members, please read the press release.
