“Voices and Votes: Democracy in America” Exhibit at Middlesex College

“Voices and Votes: Democracy in America,” a traveling exhibit based on a major exhibition currently on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, will be on display at Middlesex College from December 1 to January 6 at the Studio Theatre Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public and is appropriate for all age groups. The exhibit is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding holidays).

In addition, the College will host two related programs, “Token on the Freedman’s Coat: The Story Behind Thomas Mundy Peterson’s 1884 Voting Medal” on December 8 and “A Vote, A Voice: Women’s Suffrage and the Fight for Representation” on December 13.
