NJCH Grantee the Mahwah Museum is excited to host “Introducing Native Plants to Your Garden” with Chris Kozar. Chris will discuss the value to be found in planting natives in your garden or yard. As climate change continues to affect our area, native plants are vital to preserving biodiversity. By introducing native plants to your garden, it becomes part of a collective to nurture and sustain the living landscape for birds and other animals. She will cover the philosophical underpinnings, as well as specific plants you can use. There will be time for questions.
