NJCH Board Vice Chair and Dean of the Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts and Education at Fairleigh Dickinson
Jonathan Mercantini was elected vice chair of the NJCH Board of Trustees in 2025. He is Dean of the Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts and Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University, having previously served as a faculty member in history and administrator at Kean University. As a teacher, scholar, and Council Board Member, he eagerly engages with students and the public on the History of the American Revolution as well as other historical topics and themes.
