Purpose: To support the production of an episode of the PBS documentary series “The Price of Freedom,” exploring the history of Black New Jerseyans.
Truehart Production’s next project is to produce a 30-minute episode to add to the Price of Silence series, a PBS documentary making the undertold history of slavery in NJ accessible to a broad public audience.
The organization previously received an NJCH Incubation Grant to fund production of a trailer to use as a promotional film and catalyst for raising the funding needed to complete the documentary.
