Purpose: To support the engagement of a community of eight Hispanic women in conversations, education, and feedback circles to explore the creation of a documentary about their lives, inspired by their participation in The Dear Rosa Project.
The Hispanic Family Center will engage a community of eight Hispanic women in conversation, education, and feedback circles around what a documentary of their lives could or would look like, if they were stewarding the process. This documentary exploration was prompted by the request of these 8 women after they participated in The Dear Rosa Project — an oral history project dedicated to amplifying the voices of women living with of HIV/AIDS — which engaged them in a storytelling process around their legacies.
