Purpose: To support the development of a community-wide read program aiming to spark dialogue and reflection on the small and large actions that saved lives during and after the Holocaust as well as the pervasive issue of anti-Semitism.
Through a community-wide read program, the library aims to spark dialogue and reflection on the small and large actions that saved lives during and after the Holocaust, while also confronting the pervasive issue of antisemitism.
Understanding and applying these lessons in our everyday life can promote empathy, connection, and a commitment to combatting hatred. This year-long project invites community members of all ages to read and listen to carefully selected books from a curated collection suitable for children, teens, and adults.
