Thomas Belton is an author, journalist, environmental scientist and a marine biologist. He has published short stories in Cicada and Art Times, feature articles in the New York Times and Philadelphia Inquirer as well as numerous magazines. Having worked for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for 25 years as a research scientist, Tom is currently a Research Associate in Science Writing with the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.
