Robert W. Butts, Ph.D.

Dr. Robert W. Butts is an award-winning conductor, composer, and educator. He has conducted orchestras and operas and his music has been performed in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has taught at Montclair State and Drew Universities and The College of Saint Elizabeth. He has edited and premiered works by Baroque and Modern composers in collaboration with The National Park System and The National Opera Center in New York. Most recently, Dr. Butts received the 2019 Exemplary Leader Award from the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.
