Richard Veit, Ph.D. is Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department of History and Anthropology at Monmouth University. He is a North American historical archaeologist whose research focuses on the Middle Atlantic Region between the late 17th and early 19th centuries. Also, Veit directs Monmouth University’s annual archaeological field school and has authored or co-authored six books.
