Community colleges are democracy's colleges: they enrich civic and economic life and drive national conversations about opportunity, education, and access. That tradition is why NJCH has chosen to partner with community colleges across the state to host Voices and Votes.

The six participating colleges were selected through a competitive application process. Each site will host the exhibit for 4-6 weeks and feature additional democracy-related local programming while the exhibition is on display at their location.

The Voices and Votes exhibition is part of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS), a program that engages local audiences to consider important topics that affect us all. The exhibitions are designed to engage communities and become a catalyst for conversation about life in America. For more information about MoMS, click here.
