Back in 2016, we began work to build a new NJCH website. For months, we had discussions about the best ways to communicate programs and the new “look” of NJCH. A new website was a priority so visitors could learn more, in a user-friendly way, about our programming and find humanities events throughout the state. Complete with a refreshed logo, the new site encourages users to explore the different aspects of our programs. Whether someone is looking to book a scholar through the Public Scholars Project (formerly Horizon Speakers Bureau) or learn how to apply for an Incubation Grant, njhumanities.org provides current and detailed information about public humanities in New Jersey.
As you explore the new website, we’d like to invite you to share feedback. We welcome your comments and questions, as they will help us to continue to shape and design the site. We exist to serve the citizens of New Jersey by harnessing the power of the humanities. Ultimately, this will strengthen our communities and empower those who engage in these learning experiences.
