NJCH to Host “Humanities Forward” Gatherings Throughout the State this Spring

April 24, 2025

Humanities Forward Graphic

The New Jersey Council for the Humanities will host a series of gatherings for organizations, professionals, and supporters across the state to discuss the current state of the humanities, funding, and how NJCH can continue to support critical humanities work in New Jersey.

Gatherings will be held in locations across the state during spring, with a purpose to set aside space and time to share information, listen, and brainstorm about ways to overcome the current challenges posed by the gutting of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

We’ll also help answer your questions on what has happened in the past few weeks and the current state of funding for the state. Event information is below. Please RSVP via the form on the event listing.

  • Friday, May 16, at the William Trent House in Trenton
  • Wednesday, May 21, at Camden County College
  • Wednesday, May 28, via Zoom
  • Wednesday, June 4, at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit

For more information about the gatherings, please email Gigi Naglak at gnaglak@njhumanities.org
