Teaching Revolutionary New Jersey Symposium

As the United States inches ever closer to the semiquincentennial in 2026, this entirely FREE event will feature eleven of the best New Jersey historians and educators as they present new research into how to teach our state’s role in the Revolutionary Era. This is the perfect event for teachers of any level and historians to hear new ideas about how they can spread New Jersey’s history.   

The symposium will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Mays Landing Campus at the Walter E. Edge Theater and will bring together historians, educators, historical societies and anyone looking to learn. A FREE LUNCH will be provided to all attendees that come to promote New Jersey’s history.
