Welcome to the SOMOS NJ Poetry & Culture Festival! Join us for a day filled with poetry, music, and art at Rutgers University. Connect with fellow poetry enthusiasts, listen to inspiring performances, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of New Jersey. Don’t miss out on this exciting event celebrating creativity and community!

Our day-long event for NJ high school students and members of the community will feature readings by New Jersey poets, musical performances, presentations by humanities scholars and practitioners, and a collaborative poetry installation. Additionally, opportunities for high-school attendees to recite poetry, share original work, and tour campus will also be part of the day’s festivities.
