“Shiv’s Project” at Natya Darpan Theater Festival

Join coLAB Arts at the 2025 Natya Darpan Theater Festival for Shiv’s Project, a verbatim play written by Dan Swern and directed by Arpita Mukherjee, exploring generational perspectives and mental health challenges in New Jersey’s South Asian community through oral histories with the family, friends, and mentors of 14-year-old Shiv Kulkarni, who died by suicide in 2021.

The creation of the play was supported by an NJCH grant to coLab Arts.
