Atlantic Cape Community College will host a special exhibit, “New Jersey Women Who Served: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future” from January 11-February 11, 2017. The exhibit is being curated by women veterans who have participated in the Clemente Course in the Humanities offered in partnership between NJCH and Atlantic Cape.
The exhibit is designed to bring together personal stories, artifacts, history, and community participation to increase visibility of women veterans, whose stories are often overlooked.
An opening reception will be held January 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
As part of the development of the exhibit, organizers are asking New Jersey women veterans of all generations, branches, and backgrounds to share photos representative of their service. Photos can be submitted using this form.
The exhibit will be on display at the Atlantic Cape Art Gallery, located in the William J. Spangler Library in Daniel Leeds Hall (D Building), 5100 Black Horse Pike, on the Mays Landing campus.
