The Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life, an NJCH grantee, presents “From Clay Tablet to Digital Tablet: The History of Jewish Books,” a public talk by Joseph A. Skloot of Hebrew Union College, NYC.
What is a Jewish book? How has it evolved from antiquity to the present?
Join the Bildner Center as it explores how Jewish ideas have been transferred over the centuries–from oral traditions to handwritten manuscripts, from printed books to computer code.
