NJCH is proud to support Piscataway Public Library’s “Food for Thought,” a series of events exploring the cultural and historical significance of food in our lives, through an Action Grant.

This event will educate participants about fresh Indian paranthas. They will also learn to cook these delicacies that are easy-to-make, nutritious and delicious to eat! Paranthas can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply with a cup of chai as a snack. Participants will learn about different flours, spices, and how to make tasty fillers so you can create your very own favorite paranthas! Please bring a rolling pin.
This event is part of our Food for Thought event series.
The Food for Thought project was made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
