Pinelands Preservation Alliance aims to develop multi-media exhibits that give voice to the diverse Pinelands communities that have contributed to the cultural fabric of the region but are underrepresented in literature and lore. They plan to showcase the Pinelands African American communities in their first exhibit and use the project as a model for building future exhibits targeting other unsung communities such as the Lenni Lenape and agricultural-based immigrant community.
