Avon Historical Society will preserve the stories and memories of long-gone Avon landmarks as documented in historic postcards. Their project team, largely composed of town volunteers, will digitize the postcard collection and conduct video oral history interviews with residents that will culminate in a film to be showcased at a Founder’s Day celebration in March 2025. The oral histories will also be transcribed, posted on the organization’s website, and featured in books published by the Historical Society.
