Leslie Fishbein, Associate Professor of American Studies at Rutgers University, received her BA from Hunter College and Ph.D. in the History of American Civilization from Harvard. Author of Rebels in Bohemia, a study of Greenwich Village radicals in the 1910s, Fishbein was a Fulbright Senior Lecturer at the University of Haifa in Israel. Fishbein teaches courses in American Studies, Jewish Studies, and Women’s and Gender Studies.
