Giuseppe Rotolo was born, raised, and “philosophized” in Palermo, Italy. He realized that he wanted to be a philosopher in high school, right after his philosophy professor introduced to the class Parmenides’ ideas. He published his first book at 25, and completed his Ph.D. at 28. At age 31 he moved away from the sandy beaches of Sicily and landed in the green and cold eastern part of Pennsylvania. Shortly after his arrival in the U.S. he found employment in Edison, NJ, as a philosophy professor at Middlesex College. He thinks that he is living some version of the Good Life.
