DESCRIPTION:The New Jersey Council for the Humanities is proud to sponsor the 2025 Tour de Elizabeth bike race. \nJoin Mayor Chris Bollwage and Groundwork Elizabeth on Sunday\, May 18\, 2025\, for the 22st Annual Tour de Elizabeth. The 15-mile recreational ride welcomes everyone and is hosted by the City of Elizabeth\, Groundwork Elizabeth\, Union County Board of County Commissioners HEART grant program\, the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce\, Elizabeth Tourism\, Elizabeth Avenue Partnership\, Historic Midtown SID\, and a host of partners and friends \nWhether you’re looking for new ways to experience the outdoors\, entering the race as an expert cyclist\, or trying the route as a beginner\, the Tour de Elizabeth offers heart-pumping fun for bikers of all ages…No bike? No problem! ($25)\nAll riders are requested to arrive early and must sign in on the day of the event (Registration Start Time: 7:00 AM)\nRide Start Time: 9:00 AM (sharp!)\nIf you need a bicycle and helmet for the Tour\, the event organizers are teaming up with Unlimited Biking\, who will be at the site.
