The wife of industrialist Lewis Steenrod Thompson and a close friend of Eleanor Roosevelt\, she was a feminist involved in social and political movements regarding prison reform\, public health and juvenile justice. \nScimeca holds the rank of Professor of History at BCC and is a specialist in women’s history. \nThe event will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Monmouth Museum\, Room MAN 105\, on the BCC campus in Lincroft.
