NJCH Workshop: Applying for a NJCH Grant

Grant applications are always competitive, and NJCH is no exception. This hour-long webinar, designed to help potential grantees learn more about the mission of NJCH and public humanities programming, will explore Incubation and Action Grant program guidelines and requirements.

Letter of Intent Period: 2020-2021 Action and Incubation Grants Round 1 (Required)

Potential applications are required to submit a Letter of Intent by September 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. We will begin accepting submissions on September 14, 2020.

We do not require organizations to schedule a phone conversation in advance of submitting the Letter of Intent.

CANCELLED - NJCH Workshop, South Jersey: Creating an Outstanding Proposal

Details regarding location and start time will be updated.

The strongest grant proposals use both their narrative and their budget to tell a compelling story. Learn how to craft a competitive grant proposal in this blended coaching session and writing workshop. Ideal for anyone in the process of applying for an NJCH grant, but open to anyone who wants to learn how to write an effective grant proposal.

Led by Director of Grants & Programs Gigi Naglak, participants can expect an interactive workshop that will include dedicated writing time.

All participants should review the Grants section of njhumanities.org prior to the workshop and prepare notes or an outline about their potential humanities project.
