Get ready for a day full of captivating stories and exciting tales at the Rosalogues Storytelling Festival, which is being presented in part with grant funding from NJCH.

The Mahwah Museum, an NJCH grantee, presents “Jane Addams and the Women of Hull-House,” a lecture led by Cathy Moran Hajo in celebration of Women's History Month. Jane Addams (1860-1935) was one of the foremost women in America at the turn of the 20th Century, tackling issues such as child labor, immigrant’s rights, woman suffrage, and fair labor conditions.

The Mahwah Museum, an NJCH grantee, presents “A Cradle of the National Pastime: New Jersey Baseball 1855-1880” a lecture led by independent historian John Zinn. The program will discuss how organized baseball got started and the important role that New Jersey played in the game’s early days.

Join NJCH grantee the Newark History Society on a fun-filled bus tour exploring the historic sites and stories of Cudjo Banquante. The free bus tours will be offered at three times as part of week of activities commemorating Banquante's life and legacy.
