The New Jersey Council for the Humanities will convene humanities faculty and staff from New Jersey community colleges for a roundtable discussion with representatives of the National Endowment for the Humanities Division of Education Program on Friday, December 8, at the Conference Center at Mercer County Community College.
At the in-person roundtable, participants will have the opportunity to connect directly with a senior program officer from NEH to discuss NEH funding opportunities, current goals and initiatives at community colleges, and needed supports for humanities education at the community college level. In addition, the convening will offer robust opportunities for participants to network with fellow humanities professionals from throughout the Garden State.
The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Conference Center at Mercer is located on the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College.
Lunch will be provided for attendees. There is no cost to attend the event, and RSVP is required (below).
