NJ Community Colleges as Local News Hubs: Discussing the Possibilities

Press passes of students in the Mercer J Lab (Fueling Community Journalism Initiative)

Join us and our Fueling Community Journalism at NJ community colleges partners to celebrate the successes of our program so far and to discuss how to continue positioning community colleges as hubs for local news and information.

This event will feature a celebratory lunch with representatives from Atlantic Cape Community College, Mercer County Community College, Middlesex College, and Sussex County Community discussing lessons learned from launching their own noncredit certificate programs in community journalism

The event will be held in Crabiel Hall, Brunswick 1 & 2 (CB102/104)(click here to view a campus map).

Parking available on site. Lot 1 is right in front of Crabiel Hall. If full, Lot 2 and 4 will be available. Do not park in faculty/staff lots.

Lunch will be provided for attendees. Please indicate dietary restrictions when RSVP’ing using the form below.
